Residents and the committee
Visits are arranged through the secretary, and the committee sees the room, the route and the sound at the door during the assessment.
For building owners Housing society
The common connection is sanctioned for every lift, pump and corridor light at once, and drawn at a fraction of that. A spare ground-floor room may support an installation. An assessment and the society's agreement determine suitability, responsibilities and payment.
For housing societies
The society's connection was sized for lifts, pumps, the club house and the corridor lights all at once. The draw is a fraction of it, the fixed charges cover the whole figure, and they are split across the maintenance bills every month. Meanwhile a ground-floor room the builder handed over has been a store for old furniture since possession.
A ground-floor room the builder handed over and nobody fitted out, the gym that never opened, a store off the club house, or a room beside the meter room that holds old furniture. It has to be common property on the common connection, and the society's general body has to agree to license it.
The common connection is sanctioned for every lift, every pump, the club house and the corridor lights running together, and drawn at a fraction of that on any ordinary evening. The spare is the sanctioned figure on the common bill minus the twelve-month peak, and the assessment reads the bills with the secretary and the society's electrician. Individual flats' connections are not part of the assessment.
The assessment confirms the supply, tie-in and cooling an installation needs, and what your room can support.
Eligibility
What decides whether a room in a housing society can be assessed for an installation, and what the assessment then checks on site.
Only common property on the society's own connection is a starting point. Flats' connections are not.
The managing committee takes a proposal to the general body, and the society signs only after its resolution.
Distance, the sound at the door and access are checked in the room with the committee.
The general guide to the initial requirements is on the owners page.
Operating considerations

Safety for the installation and the room is assessed for the site. The trust page sets out Azita's approach to safety in buildings.
The trust pageWhat happens if the society changes its mind, including notice and removal, is set out in the agreement the general body is asked to approve.

Hosting model
The same illustration as on the owners page, opened at typical inputs for a housing society. Its assumptions sit beside the result; the assessment and your agreement establish the actual terms.
Indicative pods from your room and power inputs
1
1 × 10 kW pods, 14.4 kW at the meter of your 20 kW
Counted from your room count and available power only. Room size and cooling are context for the assessment; they do not confirm that equipment fits.
Illustrative model, not a site-specific offer or measured earnings. It applies to hosting for others; an installation for your own work needs its own proposal.
The society. The managing committee takes it to the general body, and the society signs after the resolution. The assessment sets out what the agreement needs from the society.
It sits in a locked room and gives its heat to the room's cooling. Whether the sound at the door is acceptable is checked in the room, with the committee standing there, before anything is signed.
The room is chosen away from play areas, and it locks. Safety for the installation is assessed for the site, and the trust page sets out Azita's approach to safety in buildings.
The trust pageThe assessment looks only at the society's common connection. How the installation's electricity is metered and settled is confirmed in the society's agreement.
Property assessment
The form starts with “Housing society” as the building type, and you can change it. A location and a short description are enough to start.
Share a few details. We’ll help assess the space and explain what an installation would involve.
