Dock traffic
Rooms are chosen away from dock and forklift traffic, and visits are planned around dispatch peaks.
For building owners Warehouse
A warehouse is sanctioned for docks, chargers and lights running at once, and draws that only when dispatch peaks. One locked room on that margin may support an installation. An assessment and your agreement determine suitability, responsibilities and payment.
For warehouses
Conveyors, dock levellers, a bank of forklift chargers, high-bay lights and whatever cooling the office block has: the sanctioned load was set for all of it at once, and the fixed charges for that figure arrive every month. Outside the peak shift most of it sits idle, and idle sanctioned load sits unused.
A store room beside the security cabin, a returns or documentation room off the dock, a mezzanine office that was never fitted out, or a locked cage that can become a room. Warehouses have space; what they are short of is a room that locks, stays clean and has cooling of its own, so the assessment looks for those three before anything else.
Sanctioned for docks, conveyors, high-bay lighting and a forklift charging bank running together, and drawn that hard only in the peak shift. If the chargers run at night the daytime draw is a fraction of the sanctioned figure; if they run by day the night is spare. The gap between the figure on your bill and your twelve-month peak is the spare, and the assessment reads the bills with you.
The assessment confirms the supply, tie-in and cooling an installation needs, and what your room can support.
Eligibility
What decides whether a room in a warehouse can be assessed for an installation, and what the assessment then checks on site.
Warehouses have space; the assessment looks for a room with those three before anything else.
It decides who holds the margin and whose signature the agreement needs.
Charging hours move your peak, and the spare is your sanctioned load minus that peak.
The general guide to the initial requirements is on the owners page.
Operating considerations
Rooms are chosen away from dock and forklift traffic, and visits are planned around dispatch peaks.
A warehouse hall cannot reject an installation's heat or keep dust out, so the room needs cooling of its own and a door that shuts.
A mezzanine can work only if the deck carries the cabinet. A ground-floor store room is the simpler answer where one exists.

Hosting model
The same illustration as on the owners page, opened at typical inputs for a warehouse. Its assumptions sit beside the result; the assessment and your agreement establish the actual terms.
Indicative pods from your room and power inputs
1
1 × 10 kW pods, 14.4 kW at the meter of your 50 kW
Counted from your room count and available power only. Room size and cooling are context for the assessment; they do not confirm that equipment fits.
Illustrative model, not a site-specific offer or measured earnings. It applies to hosting for others; an installation for your own work needs its own proposal.
The hall itself is not the place for it. The room around the installation has to be a room: a door that shuts, cooling of its own, dust kept outside. That is what the assessment checks.
If the deck carries it. The assessment checks floor loading before a design is drawn, and a ground-floor store room is the simpler answer where one exists.
Only to the arithmetic. The spare is your sanctioned load minus your twelve-month peak, whenever that peak falls. How the installation gives way if the chargers need headroom is confirmed in your agreement.
The room needs cooling that can take the heat of the installation. The assessment checks whether the room can take a unit of its own.
Property assessment
The form starts with “Warehouse” as the building type, and you can change it. A location and a short description are enough to start.
Share a few details. We’ll help assess the space and explain what an installation would involve.
